In 2019 the new UHV-grade Si detector for the E127 proton-capture experiment has been installed at this position.
Detector has been alined in height with the help of a line-laser and a test drive into the dipole chamber could be done, as the dipole section was vented at that time.

Bakeout for about 1 week was done with the help of a temp-sensor (pt100) next to the detector. See https://elog.gsi.de/esr/E127/21

Final alinement and remote test driving were done after bakeout, there was a significant effect on the vacuum pressure when moved inside.
