We have been working together with IT on the speed of data transfer: with the new 10 GB interface we can now transfer data from NAS to Lustre with 400MB/s. From NAS to GPU Computer up to 700MB/s. All cables around the rack are now 10GB capable. |

We tried to convince the outside pocket to move, no success. We can hear the "hissing sound" of the pressurized air but no movement. Sergey tried to move it from the HKR, also no success. After that I tried to move it again from the Messhuette...and the "Out of tolerance" error message is gone, and the pocket seems to move. (We cannot confirm from inside because the ESR is already closed).
Guess the outside pocket got intimidated by Sergey and decided to get moving again... ;-)
We will take a bit more beam once the setting is stable, but try not to fry another detector. |
