The 2nd photo Compares the resolution of 188Hf setting by looking at peaks of 205Au and 205Pb which are very close in frequency range. The resolution in
the second 188Hf72+ setting(on Right) seems much better as two peaks can be seen clearly. |

The peaks in the analyzer are slowly shifting back to the original position.
Note that a quadrupole was the cause of the issue 45 mins ago and it was cycled. Might be relevant... |
