* all values averaged over 500 pulses.

Notes:
  • In between a measurement the scrapers stopped working in the device control. Therefore, we had to go into the electronics room.
  • Position to scratch charge transferred beam: S1HA at -35.
  • Beam diameter is roughly 6-7 mm (horizontally) and 4 mm vertically (as opposed to 1-2 mm).
  • The charge transferred ion beam seems to shift the position of the main beam over time (1cm / 2h) as the main beam "transfers its intensity".

We did not see any signal at PMT North which was the narrowband PMT. Changed it to the old solar blind PMT. Now we see the resonance. It is about 3 times larger as PMT middle, most likely because of the larger window. CFD threshold was set. I also increased the CFD threshold for PMT middle slightly.

We have changed the laser wavelength, e.g. the dye for the Cobra to Fluorescein 27.

We get about 84 mJ out the main amplifier @ 548 nm.

We also changed the optics and put into operation the MRC stabilization system for this new wavelength regime.

Next step is to T-scrape the ion- and laser-beams, e.g. to make the overlap of both beams at the E-Cooler.

Cooling voltages were increased by 1830V, i.e.
Delta U SC3: 1990V
DeltaU SC6 / SC9 : 1960V ???
The new frequency is 1.99236615 MHz
